While we have tried to add a lot of fabulous ingredients to this product, you may want to customize it further with other amazing ingredients. These special ingredients that we call "Goodies" can be added to our Softening Pre-Shave Oil for an additional per unit charge.

We also have a variety of "Exotic Plant Oils" that you might want to add to this product.

You will be able to choose one or more of these "Goodies" and "Exotic Plant Oils" on the product order form.

We have listed the special ingredients we offer for our Softening Pre-Shave Oil in the following list. Below each ingredient is the price for adding it to the different size units. Please note that while we have listed all units sizes below each ingredient, not all products are offered in every size.

Special Ingredient Descriptions and Labeling Information

Below each special ingredient we have listed a brief description of what the ingredient does. This will help you decide if you want to add it to the formula. If the ingredient name is highlighted in pink, it means it is a link to more information about that ingredient. It is important to have the correct INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) in the ingredient list you put on your product label. Below the description of each special ingredient, we have the INCI name(s) that should go in your ingredient list. The Softening Pre-Shave Oil product page has the full ingredient list for that product and also tells you where in the ingredient list you should add the INCI name(s) for the special ingredients.

Detangler for Conditioners

This material is a conditioner & detangler for hair products. It offers anti-tangle, anti-static, and emollient properties. It is an amazing detangler. It can be added to any of our conditioner bases and repair masque.

We suggest that for maximum detangling in the conditioners, you add it at double the regular amount (2X).

Light Oil Booster (for oil products only)

Isopropyl myristate is what is called a “dry oil”. It is a plant based material that has been modified to make it feel very light, silky & drier than regular vegetable oils. This material has a very light lubricious feel and good shine. This ingredient can be added to any of our hair, skin, bath & beard oils to make the oil feel lighter and drier. This material will make the oil thinner, less yellow, and less oily feeling. The oil will still give good shine and spread well.

Silicone Alternate – Vegetable oil based

This material is made from olives. It has similar properties to Dimethicone but is NOT SILICONE for those who don’t like silicones. It makes skin soft & supple. For hair, it adds shine, slip and smoothing.
