While we have tried to add a lot of fabulous ingredients to this product, you may want to customize it further with other amazing ingredients. These special ingredients that we call "Goodies" can be added to our Cleaned & Refined Body Wash for an additional per unit charge.
We also have a variety of Herbal Extracts and Extract Blends and Exotic Plant Oils that you might want to add to this product.
You will be able to choose one or more of these "Goodies", "Herbal Extracts/Blends", and "Exotic Plant Oils" on the product order form.

Please note that while we have listed all units sizes below each ingredient, not all products are offered in every size.
Special Ingredient Descriptions and Labeling Information
Below each special ingredient we have listed a brief description of what the ingredient does. This will help you decide if you want to add it to the formula. If the ingredient name is highlighted in pink, it means it is a link to more information about that ingredient. It is important to have the correct INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) in the ingredient list you put on your product label. Below the description of each special ingredient, we have the INCI name(s) that should go in your ingredient list. The Cleaned & Refined Body Wash product page has the full ingredient list for that product and also tells you where in the ingredient list you should add the INCI name(s) for the special ingredients.
Water soluble silicone for Conditioning
This is a silicone base with a hair conditioner attached to it. You get all the softening benefits of the hair conditioner with the smoothness and shine of silicone. Because it is water soluble, this material doesn’t build up in the hair.

Natural Moisturizing Factor
Derived from amino acids, this material is similar to the Natural Moisturizing Factor which is a normal part of the skin. It can increase moisture in the skin and hair with more hydrating power than glycerin to give softness and elasticity.

Shea Butter – Water Soluble
This is a water soluble material made from Shea Butter which gives refatting and moisturizing to water based products. Shea Butter is a natural fat that is not easily incorporated to products that are all or mostly water based (such as body mists, toners, body & face washes, and some shampoos). This version of Shea Butter makes it easy to add the fabulous conditioning and moisturizing properties of Shea Butter to water based products.

Sodium Lactate Moisturizer
Sodium lactate is the product of fermentation of sugar. Sodium Lactate is one of the Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) constituents of skin, required in the maintenance of natural hydration. Sodium Lactate is a superior moisturizer, increasing the moisture content of skin by up to 84%. When compared to other commonly used moisturizers, it’s water holding capacity is second only to Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid).

Glycans
Glycans are widely used in skin & hair care products because of their ability to bind with water efficiently and increase depth of hydration. They are easily accepted by skin and hair because of their positive charge. They are a precursor to Hyaluronic acid improving the moisturization, elasticity, firmness of skin while reducing the appearance of wrinkles. On hair, they can bind moisture to the hair and adds slip and silky feel.

This “goodie” is so you can add a higher percentage of Glycerin to your products. Glycerin is what is called a “humectant”. It attracts water to skin and hair. It adds great moisturizing to skin care products without an oily feel. It is water soluble so is fabulous in body washes and shampoos. It is well known as a curl enhancer in products for wavy and curly hair and helps define curls.
